The new FW 24/25 handbag collection: a blend of color and sustainability.
Color and shapes, combined with prints inspired by Aboriginal art, are at the heart of Surkana's Autumn/Winter 2024/2025 handbag collection.
Contemporary bags with strong personalities that don't compromise on sustainability, as the challenge is increasingly about creating a style that respects the environment. Attention is paid to recycled materials as an alternative to leather, and a focus on color contrasts creates an emotional kaleidoscope of motifs and patterns.
There is room for personalized details and volumes designed to play with fashion and complement Surkana's looks.
The collection is divided into three lines – Iconic, Nylon, and Collection – each characterized by a distinctive palette, clean and modern lines, and a blend of creativity and innovation where ethics and aesthetics go hand in hand.
Spacious and practical models ensure that functionality remains stylish, thanks to the attention to detail that has always defined Surkana.
Starting with the Iconic line, practical and versatile, where the standout feature is the texture, made from recycled polyester and crafted through processes that reduce CO2 emissions.
Softness and durability make the difference in the spacious tote bags that shine across various silhouettes; in the sophisticated crossbody and handbags with a bold spirit; and in the playful colors that inspire the delightful pleated bags.
The Nylon Bag line takes a casual and playful approach, focusing on functional design with a range of models perfect for all-day wear: from backpacks to crossbody bags, including foldable bags ideal for an on-the-go lifestyle, like the stylish drawstring bags.
The Collection line spotlights trends, featuring special, up-to-date pieces that reflect the brand's coolest side—like the "furry" wool shopping bags and the large, reversible tote bags. All of this comes, of course, in a carousel of colors and prints that recall the summer collection, amplifying its character.
The eco-friendly material, an alternative to leather, is primarily made of recycled polyester, which contains no solvents or chemical waste.
Its production saves water and energy while significantly reducing CO2 emissions. This material is soft and durable, with a very low carbon content and is certified according to the Global Recycled Standard.
Furthermore, during production, there are no contamination issues as no solvents or organic compounds are used, since water is the synthetic agent, meaning emissions are simply water vapor.
Composition: 58% recycled polyester, 37% water-based polyurethane, 5% kaolin.
