The Textile and Fashion Design programs are offered within a creative and innovative design and research environment.
They provide a comprehensive curriculum of advanced study and research across Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral degrees in Textile and Fashion Design.
The highly-accomplished faculty, state-of-the-art labs, and excellent studio facilities invoke creativity, innovation, and speculation.
They push the aesthetic boundaries of textile and fashion design by challenging convention to create new expressions, innovative functions, alternative methods, and bold definitions.
The Bachelor’s degree in either Textile or Fashion Design introduces foundational theories and techniques while opening a creative and experimental space for rewarding practical work.
Students graduate and are ready to enter the workforce or to expand their knowledge and skills by undergoing a Master’s degree.
The Master’s degree in Textile and Fashion Design prepares students to contribute to society through innovative thinking and well-established design skills that launch students toward their desired careers.
The program further prepares students for admission to Doctoral programs in the fine arts.
Through a Doctoral degree path in Textile and Fashion Design, students conduct experimental research to uncover new knowledge such as investigating the expressive qualities of a design material, testing a design, or developing notions that expand the boundaries of the design space and further develop the field.
In an industry that often leaves one with more questions than answers, the class of 2025 is tackling the immense task of redefining what it means to be a young designer today.
Through the pure touch of the hand strengthened by the artistic use of new technologies, the works reflect themes of identity, memories, and imperfection -in search of defining one’s own design methods and culture of aesthetics.
The talented designers are: Anaïs Dahl Perret, Andrea Rehbein, Charlie Malmsten, Frida Elise Henriksen, Gabriela Arias Egana, Jonas Gustavsson, Josephine Järlhem, Lan Krebs, Margot Leverrier, Matilda Olofsson, Paweł Robuta, Siri Bratt, Susanna Suojanen, Wictor Ljunggren, Yuting Xia, Zuzana Vrabelova.
