Francesca Liberatore, right after the success of her SS26 collection presented during the recent Milan Fashion Week, flies to Tashkent to close the Italian Haute Couture event curated by Stefano Dominella under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Italian Embassy.

Once again, Francesca Liberatore proves herself to be an international voice and ambassador of Made in Italy around the world — as well as a global reference point for new generations — with a creative language that remains deeply attuned to historical and geographical context.

In the Francesca Liberatore Couture collection, compositional freedom becomes a project of rebellion against the constraint of the garment on the body.

The elements, which vary even within the same piece, explore different silhouettes, cultural and temporal references.

Velvets and crêpe de chine, macramé and lace, pequin satins and romantic ramage patterns alternate with wide and fluid volumes, boule gathers, and loose lines, creating a continuous, wave-like movement.

Violet and burgundy, pink and brown, écru and ice, with touches of Turkish red and peacock blue, compose a rich look — at times opulent and intellectual.

A collection that nods to the Belle Époque, a complex and extraordinary era much like our own — both decadent and luxurious.

“The fundamental part of my ‘fashion journeys’ is to change, even for a moment, the lives of the people who are there with me — from the local assistants I meet, to interns and professionals, all the way to the foreign audience with whom, despite differences in culture, background, nationality, or faith, we find ourselves united by the aesthetic project.

I believe that when this happens — as it did this time — fashion truly takes on a deeper meaning,” says Liberatore.
