Love for animals and support for female empowerment come together in the #UNAVITAINSIEME project by the brand L’Atelier du Sac, which, for its second chapter, launches a capsule collection of three bags designed by three young Italian illustrators.
“Art Collection. A capsule with young women” is a limited edition of the iconic Annie bag, reinterpreted by three Italian designers.
This offering will be sold with the SS 2024 collection by L’Atelier du Sac, with all proceeds being donated: 90% to the National League for the Defense of Dogs – Milan section and 10% to the artists.
The aim is twofold: on one hand, to support the activities (rescue, protection, shelter, and maintenance of stray dogs) of the Segrate refuge, and on the other, to actively support the talent of the young women involved.
“I chose to unite fashion and art in a project that continues the initiative launched last year and could simultaneously benefit four-legged friends and new female names in the Italian art scene, who do not always receive the visibility they deserve,” explains Silvia Tirabasso, creative director of the brand.
Alice Studio Alispi, Cecilia Battaini, and Francesca Selvaggio are the young artists involved in the project, tasked with giving a new look to Annie, the iconic mini bag by L’Atelier du Sac, with a single common denominator: celebrating the beauty of nature and its colors.
Starting with the pattern by Alice Studio Alispi, whose artistic sensitivity is expressed in a pattern inspired by spring and its blooming.
Then, continuing with the enchanted garden of Cecilia Battaini and the botanical subjects in watercolor and gouache by Francesca Selvaggio.
These creations are a collection of positive emotions, an invitation to share the values of respect, beauty, and commitment encapsulated in the capsule collection.
