In the heart of Brera during Design Week, Martino Midali’s space is transformed into something that goes beyond a simple exhibition: it becomes a living system, a traversable environment, and a constantly evolving field of relationships.

It is here that ORBITA — F205 / In Relazione takes shape—a project that fosters a dialogue between Ceramiche Puzzo, Martino Midali, and the botanical intervention Etra by Giulia Bianchi.

ORBITA F205, the new collection by Ceramiche Puzzo, stems from a precise intuition: shifting the focus from the object to the relationship. The vases are not conceived as autonomous elements, but as presences that acquire meaning only through their reciprocal positioning. A white base and a colored sphere—a simple, essential gesture—become the starting point for a visual and spatial tension. The sphere does not merely decorate; it activates. It introduces movement, generates possibilities, and builds connections.

In this system, every element exists only in relation to the others. Nothing is isolated; nothing is definitive.

Martino Midali intervenes upon this structure with + Midali Extension, a series of six unique pieces that do not disrupt the system, but rather expand it. His creative language grafts onto that of ORBITA F205, maintaining its relational logic while pushing it toward new expressive directions.

Two triptychs, opposite yet complementary, define its trajectory. On one side stands TENSION, where black and white strip the visual field to its essentials, creating unstable balances and restrained, almost suspended relationships.

On the other is EQUILIBRIUM, where solid color asserts itself as an autonomous presence—stable but not rigid, capable of existing independently while remaining in constant dialogue with the system.

Completing the project, the botanical intervention Etra by Giulia Bianchi introduces a further dimension: the organic.

This is not mere decoration, but a presence that enters the system like a new element in orbit.

The natural world does not soften the composition; rather, it complicates it, making it denser and more alive.

The storefront itself becomes an active part of the project. It is not a container, but a field of forces built through calibrated distances, suspended balances, and voids that act just as powerfully as the physical presences. It is a space that does not limit itself to showing, but instead brings things into relationship.

The resulting experience is non-linear. There is no privileged point of view, nor a single interpretation. The visitor is invited to move, to change position, and to enter the system both physically and perceptually. Every shift modifies the relationships; every gaze redefines the balance. The vases are never the same, because they change along with the observer.

In this sense, ORBITA F205 does not narrate a form, but a condition. A contemporary condition made of tensions and openings, of unstable yet necessary balances.

To be in balance without being still. To be in relation without being bound.
