HUI Milano takes the stage at 10 Corso Como with a sensorial journey that turns fashion into a philosophy of life.

In the prestigious setting of 10 Corso Como in the heart of Milan, HUI Milano unveiled its “The Song of Silver” collection during Milan Fashion Week SS2026.

More than a traditional runway show, it became an immersive experience and a contemporary ritual where fashion, culture, and the senses conversed in perfect harmony.

The collection drew inspiration from the silver jewelry culture of the Miao people—recognized as part of China’s intangible cultural heritage—reinterpreted through a minimal and international design language.

Hammered silver, bells, and pendants merged with recycled silks, plant-based denim, organic cottons, and tulle, creating a “soundscape” that followed the models’ movements and came alive as a dynamic sculpture of rhythm, light, and matter.

Beyond aesthetics, HUI’s philosophy emerged: enhancing the profound symbols of Eastern culture and translating them into a universal language.

Garment details expressed a constant dialogue between structure and lightness: layered skirts, wide belts, and silver-thread embroidery evoked ancient ceremonies, yet adapted seamlessly to the present with natural elegance and contemporaneity.

The guiding concept of “art as healing” shaped the entire experience.

Sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch were engaged to lead the audience through an immersive ritual: soft lights and shadow play, scents of sandalwood and cedar, the sound of traditional instruments, tastings of oriental teas, and the tactility of fabrics transformed the show into a multisensory journey that united fashion, lifestyle, and spirituality.

Sustainability also played a central role: all jewelry pieces were crafted in collaboration with the intangible cultural heritage workshops of Guizhou and Miao master silversmiths, while fabrics came from natural fibers and plant-dyeing processes.

A union that reinforced the concept of sustainable premium handicrafts—precious craftsmanship that was also responsible.

The attention to etiquette, ritual as both aesthetic and spiritual practice, ran throughout the collection: from the welcome reserved for guests to the studied rhythm of the runway, up to sartorial references inspired by the hanfu and traditional dress.

Every gesture and every detail became symbols of respect and harmony—central values of Eastern culture that HUI reinterpreted in a contemporary key. With “The Song of Silver”, Huizhou Zao —founder and creative director of the brand— reaffirmed her role as an ambassador of China Style on the international stage.

As she noted: "We wanted to let the silence and strength of the East resonate across the world. Our mission was to transform fashion into a cultural bridge, capable of transmitting not only style but also values and spirituality."

International critics recognized HUI’s show as an emblematic example of how Chinese design had evolved from being a mere “style output” to the transmission of universal cultural values, opening a new chapter in the global perception of Eastern fashion.
