After the success of its first participation in 2024, Keqiao reaffirms its commitment to strengthening collaboration with Italy, choosing Milano Fashion Week® as the premier platform to showcase the best of its textile and creative talent.

In the evocative setting of Milan’s historic Galleria Meravigli, a new collective runway show took place — marking an important step forward in the dialogue between two worlds united by excellence and innovation.

The three-year agreement between China’s Keqiao textile district and the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI) stands as a virtuous model of cultural and industrial exchange, bringing together the roots of a leading manufacturing hub with the creative avant-garde of Italian fashion. In an era where fashion is rapidly evolving toward an increasingly integrated global dimension, this project reflects a shared commitment to building strong bridges that transcend distance and cultural differences.

To date, it represents the only ongoing collaboration with a local government included in the official Milano Fashion Week® calendar, underscoring its strategic importance.

Located in Shaoxing, in China’s Zhejiang province, Keqiao emerges not only as a powerhouse of the textile industry but also as an incubator of innovation and new stylistic languages.

After drawing international attention with its 2024 show, the district now presents a new selection of emerging designers, each telling stories of craftsmanship, aesthetics, and contemporary research.

On the runway, four rising Chinese brands took center stage:

• Uncoded, founded by Miao Ho in 2022, embodies the modern woman through an aesthetic defined by tailored precision and refined lightness.

• Pinhui, by Pinhui Zhao, conveys an elegant and confident femininity, characterized by clean lines and a style designed for everyday life.

• Roseocean, by Zhao Shiwei, interprets fashion as a fusion of urban culture and Eastern influences, blending contemporary dynamism with poetic sensibility.

• Xunruo stands out for its experimental spirit and a material and conceptual approach that pushes the boundaries of traditional design.

The return to Milan’s official calendar marks another step in Keqiao’s journey toward deeper integration into the global fashion system, strengthening a partnership that looks to the future with the ambition of becoming an ever more prominent player on the international stage.
