Milan Fashion Week A/W 2023-2024: "The Wave", Calcaterra new collection.

Revolution and transformation in an "aristocratic vision with punk reflections that sketches new individualisms".

The natural dynamism of a cyclical movement, which evolves and continues to grow, only to then contract and expand itself once again.

This is the concept of "The Wave", Calcaterra's new Fall-Winter 2023-24 collection.

It represents a personal and intimate connection between images that transcend borders, cross oceans, and decades, guided by the generative force of the infinite cycle. Revolution and transformation have liberated women from outdated constraints, allowing them to be redesigned in high definition.

Personality is the only reading code.

The forms soar and elongate like a wave that, without obstacles, increases in strength and volume.

A surreal dreamer who carefully calibrates styles and contrasts.

An aristocratic vision with punk reflections that sketches new individualisms.

DO IT YOURSELF.

CREATE new contents and REINTERPRET existing ones, no longer as CONSUMERS, but as CREATORS of free visions.

The choice of patterns and materials is countered by different weights and textures: wool cloth, cotton and silk crepes, graine de poudre, and gabardine, abstract-geometric jacquard and a sophisticated animal print on recycled twill.

The color palette is vibrant and ever-changing, with bold, dystonic tones like muddy shades, dusty hues, and reds with texture.

This wave seemingly carries, from one part of the world to another, thoughts and images capable of tracing new codes and defining new contours for a style that changes yet never betrays itself.
