She completed a foundation degree in fine art sculpture at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and completed a fashion design course at Marangoni in Milan.
After building a diverse career in designer studios and global brands in London, New York and Seoul, she launched Pleiades in Seoul.
The story of Pleiades began in London in 2016, when designer Min Heo was preparing for her graduation press show.
The designer wanted to present a new genre of shoes by combining the elements he considered most beautiful.
The collection features Korean and European clothing history, various craft elements,
and the natural beauty of materials - silk, soft sheepskin, and suit fabric .
The Pleiades collection is created from a variety of themes and is born through the designer's original development process.
The subject matter can be ancient murals, figures of various animals, characters from movies or novels, or even the golden sunlight in the backyard of your favorite bakery.
The designer's ideas are transformed into beautiful shoes using hand-drawn sketchbooks, self-developed signature shapes, and carefully selected materials.
Pleiades' mission is to provide the highest quality without compromise.
Korean silk fabric, lasts developed in collaboration with Italian factories, French sheepskin, suit fabrics airlifted from a tailor shop in London.
Team Pleiades is constantly striving to present better materials and more original products.
Pleiades shoes are 100% made domestically and are crafted by the best craftsmen with decades of experience, and the production team is part of their family.
Additionally, some of Pleiades products are made from upcycled materials and biodegradable plant-based materials, and we regularly monitor whether any materials are being discarded to minimize waste.
