Ahead of the Fall/Winter 2025 collection release, Stockholm Surfboard Club presents a new campaign captured by longtime collaborator and friend of the brand, Alex Knost.

Known globally as both a pioneering surfer and multidisciplinary artist, Knost brings his signature offbeat aesthetic and analog charm to the project.

“I had been working on this cut-out concept with Karl (Bolander) for a while, and it really made sense to bring Alex into it. His raw approach to everything he touches—from surfboards to music, paintings, and sculpture—is something I admire. Seeing the collection ‘come to life’ in California completed it”, says Manne Glad, Creative Director. Shot in and around Alex’s home in Orange County, California, the campaign features life-size cut-out figures dressed in the FW25 collection, placed throughout sun-bleached suburban landscapes.

The result is a playful narrative that - somewhere between staged and found- is echoing the collection’s gritty texture with the spirit of West Coast surf culture.

In connection with the campaign, and together with art director Karl Bolander, Stockholm Surfboard Club is also releasing its first printed issue—a fanzine-style publication built around Alex Knost’s photographs, laid out and cropped with his own visual logic.

The result is a raw and personal take on the collection and the world it moves through.
