The 54th edition of the Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2023, the international fair for professional cosmetics and beauty, has successfully concluded.
With over 2900 participating companies from 64 countries worldwide, the Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna remains an essential opportunity for Italian and international professionals in the industry to share, compare and update themselves on the trends that drive the future of beauty.
An event replete with initiatives and appointments that involved all sectors of the cosmetic industry: from raw materials to ingredients, from machinery to packaging, from finished product to distribution, all the way to the final consumer.

Also for the 2023 edition, the Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna has been structured into 3 salons: Cosmopack, dedicated to the entire cosmetic industry supply chain; Cosmo Perfumery & Cosmetics, aimed at perfumery and cosmetics companies operating in retail distribution; and finally, Cosmo Hair & Nail & Beauty Salon for hair, beauty&spa and nail professionals.
This choice made by the organizers was dictated by the desire to fully satisfy the needs of players across the entire production and distribution chain of the cosmetic industry, as well as to foster a network of relationships and business opportunities among operators.

A rich calendar of events, initiatives, training sessions and meetings with global experts have marked this successful edition.
One of these is CosmoTalks, where experts from around the world shared their experiences and testimonies on the present of the cosmetic industry, as well as the trends that will shape the future.
Furthermore, there were CosmoOnStage and World Massage Meeting, which provided an opportunity for training and updating for operators in beauty centers, and On Hair, a series of appointments dedicated to hair beauty operators, showcasing new trends in color, cut and hairstyle, and an event dedicated to the presentation of the hair salon of the future.

The Cosmoprof experience takes you on a journey through the present and future of cosmetics, as told by the wide range of exhibiting brands: revolutionary formulations with results from the first application, precious raw materials such as gold and silver, or even balsamic vinegar of Modena PGI which, for its antioxidant properties, has been employed in innovative ways in cosmetics.
Moreover, the exhibition showcased state-of-the-art packaging created with materials that have zero environmental impact and are infinitely recyclable, along with technologies that represent a turning point towards more high-performing solutions that are in line with consumer demands.
The future of beauty is also linked to the concept of "holistic wellness", where body care begins from within through what we decide to consume in our bodies to achieve external results.
Moreover, the global cosmetics industry is moving towards greater awareness of the importance of sustainability, a central theme already in previous editions of Cosmoprof. In a global context that is increasingly focused on the problem of planetary pollution, the cosmetics sector is beginning to contribute through new and futuristic production and marketing choices, moving towards the goal of zero impact on the environment and cruelty-free ethics, in service of a consumer who is attentive to their purchasing choices and renewed lifestyle.
