IUAD Presents "Genesi" at Fuorisalone 2025: the Installation that Explores the Connection Between Land and Sea Within the INTERNI CRE-ACTION Exhibition-Event.

The IUAD Academy (University Institute of Art and Design) is thrilled to announce its participation in Fuorisalone 2025 with the project "Genesi", an immersive installation that explores the deep connection between the Campania region and the theme of origin, symbolically represented through the union of land and sea.

This project not only embodies the creativity of young designers but also celebrates the fusion of nature, culture, and innovation within the prestigious Cre-Action exhibition-event, conceived and organized by INTERNI.

The event will open on April 7 and continue until April 17 at the University of Milan, Via Festa del Perdono.

"Genesi" is a project conceived by students from IUAD’s Interior Architecture courses at the Naples campus, under the guidance of Professor and Architect Salvatore Colasanto, in collaboration with Solimene, a historic excellence from Vietri in the field of design and ceramics.

The installation comes to life through the meeting of artistic and scientific expertise, shaping a work that narrates the connection between the past, present, and future. Each element of the installation reflects the dialogue between the natural world and contemporary creativity, creating an immersive landscape where visitors are invited to explore the delicate balance between ancestral elements and innovation.

The interpretation of origin unfolds through a language that merges art, architecture, and design, offering an evocative and engaging experience.

To provide additional insight, a video documentary will capture every phase of the creative and production process, from concept to realization.

This audiovisual narrative, to be screened at the inauguration, will allow the audience to dive behind the scenes of the project and appreciate the depth of work that led to the creation of "Genesi".

The video will serve not only as a testament to the students’ dedication but also as an opportunity to understand the installation’s evolution.

Parallelly, a team of communication students managed the visual identity and promotion of the project, with a special focus on social media and real-time sharing of the installation’s progress.

This strategy has significantly boosted the visibility of Genesi, engaging the audience throughout its development and offering a dynamic insight into the contemporary design world.
