IUAD Walks The Runway At Fashion Graduate Italia 2024 With "Symphony of Stories".

The participation of IUAD (Istituto Universitario di Arte e Design) at the prestigious Fashion Graduate Italia 2024 event.

The IUAD Fashion Academy participated in the 10th edition of Fashion Graduate Italia, the first fashion week open to the city, dedicated to the creativity of emerging young fashion talents.

The event took place in Milan from October 22 to 24, 2024.

IUAD showcased its collection on October 23 at 2:30 PM at Base Milano with a fashion show titled 'Symphony of Stories'.

The event was organized by Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda ETS, a hub that brings together the best Italian post-graduation institutions and academies in the fashion sector, with the patronage of the Municipality of Milan and the Lombardy Region.

This year, Fashion Graduate Italia celebrated its 10th anniversary with the theme Eyes Wide Open, a call for students to connect with reality and with others with greater authenticity and empathy.

This theme also reflects the core belief that has guided the event since its inception: to embrace change, capture innovation, and open up to the future with optimism.

'Symphony of Stories', IUAD's fashion show, was a powerful metaphor for resilience and human beauty.

The students, with skill and creativity, transformed fabrics, shapes, and colors into visual narratives that explore universal themes such as identity, freedom, and rebirth, creating an emotional and meaningful story.

Each collection became a unique chapter in this visual symphony, weaving together past, present, and future.

A language that blends harmony and spirituality, tradition and innovation, giving life to a timeless creative dialogue.

The IUAD students who took center stage in the fashion show were: Pasquale Improda, Qurino Amato, Francesca Cammardella, Giulia Cipriano, Simone Clementino, Mario Di Lieto, Nicole Spiller, Manuela Esposito, Sara Zanelli, and Giulia Cozza.

Fashion Graduate Italia 2024 was a special edition, with the participation of prestigious international fashion universities through the Talent To Talent project, which promoted cultural exchange between Milan and cities such as Chicago, Melbourne, and Shanghai.

In this context, IUAD confirmed its role as one of the leading academies in the project, showcasing the talent of its students and reaffirming the connection between innovation, education, and creativity.

Fashion Graduate Italia also facilitates the entry of recent graduates into the workforce through targeted initiatives, such as portfolio reviews and the creation of an online hub that features the best student work.

These events are designed to foster direct contact between young talents and industry companies.
