Western Style and Eastern Tradition at Milan Fashion Week.

General Zhang Qian of the Han Dynasty — who in the 2nd century BC undertook a daring journey westward, inaugurating relations between East and West — has inspired the Origine collection by KB HONG, the high-end line of the Chinese giant K-Boxing.

True to its style, which blends Western taste with Eastern tradition, the brand has chosen to honor the national hero who effectively opened the 'Silk Road,' marking the history and origin of a millennia-old relationship that has shaped the existence of both cultures from its beginnings to the present day.

For today’s explorers, the brand’s creative director, Italian Massimo Foroni, has crafted a collection defined by Luxury Sport with an innate elegant connotation and international allure, where oversized volumes alternate with tailored constructions and warm colors blend with refined patterns.

The stitched belt of the kimono—now a symbol of the brand—sometimes becomes a collar, sometimes a lapel, and at other times reverts to a belt.

Meanwhile, the horses won by Qian serve as inspiration for abstract graphics or elegant textures, and the Falcon, the general’s loyal guardian, is reimagined as a digital echo or a precious jacquard.

A journey of style that retraces tradition, bringing back the origins of an exchange between cultures that is reborn every day, even through fashion.

This is exemplified by K-Boxing, which since 2020 has chosen Milan Fashion Week as its stage, emphasizing its commitment to connecting past and present, East and West, through a unique style.

K-BOXING, founded in 1980, is the leading brand in China for men’s business-casual apparel.

In 2024, the brand’s value reached 103.835 billion yuan, making it the most important men’s clothing brand in China for the 21st consecutive year.

In recent years, K-BOXING has embraced an international vision, telling the story of China on runways around the world and integrating Eastern artistic aesthetics into a contemporary luxury brand.
