Chen Long’s fashion show in Milan marked the closing chapter of the Spring/Summer 2026 season and solidified the brand’s international rise.

At the Museum of Science and Technology in Milan, CHEN.1988 celebrated the tenth anniversary of the brand’s founding with the presentation of “The Ideal Autumn”, the concluding chapter of the Spring/Summer 2026 collection.

Chen Long’s new proposal showcased a language of contrasts and material experimentation: light and transparent fabrics interacted with structured, glossy materials, resulting in an aesthetic that blended femininity, urban functionality, and luxurious details.

Among the key pieces, the slip dress stood out — a symbol of urban boudoir style — enriched with lace and tailored constructions.

The architectural openings, a distinctive hallmark of the brand, once again took center stage in the SS 2026 collection.

Founded in 2016, CHEN.1988 has built its identity around the pursuit of silhouette, combining precision and softness in a clean, essential aesthetic that embodies the confidence of the contemporary woman.

Its founder and creative director, Chen Long, has been recognized as one of the most authoritative voices in Chinese fashion. Named Best Womenswear Designer of 2024 and included among the Top Ten Chinese Designers of 2025, he has served as a professor at the Jiangxi University Fashion Institute, a permanent member of the China Fashion Association Committee, and the winner of the 29th China Fashion Designer Top Award 2025 — the most prestigious honor in the field — during China Fashion Week in Beijing.

With the “The Ideal Autumn” collection, CHEN.1988 celebrated a decade of activity and consolidated its international growth, reaffirming itself as an emerging player on the global stage.
