The Montecarlo Fashion Week concludes with great success, having transformed the Principality of Monaco into an international hub of creativity, innovation, and sustainability from April 14 to 18, confirming itself as one of the most significant events on the fashion calendar.

A central moment of the week was the Fashion Awards Ceremony & Gala Dinner, during which the Chambre Monégasque de la Mode honored leading figures in fashion for their ethical and innovative vision.

Among the most significant recognitions was the Legacy Award, awarded posthumously to Giorgio Armani.

This prize pays tribute to Armani’s revolutionary impact on fashion, his vision, his timeless elegance, and his immense cultural influence, as well as his legacy of integrity and enduring style.

The award was presented by American actress Kelly Rutherford to Anoushka Borghesi, Global Communication Director of Giorgio Armani.

The prestigious Positive Change Award was given to Francesca Bellettini, President and CEO of Gucci, for her visionary leadership and her commitment to promoting an inclusive, creative, and responsible business model capable of driving change in the global luxury sector.

The award was presented to her by Federica Nardoni Spinetta, President and Founder of the Chambre Monégasque de la Mode and the Montecarlo Fashion Week.

The Emerging Designer Award went to Macy Grimshaw, a young British talent with a master’s degree from Central Saint Martins in London.

The talented designer was awarded by Francesca Airoldi, Chief Business Officer of Condé Nast Italia, for her unique creative vision and her experimental and sustainable approach to design.

Her custom-made creations have already been worn by celebrities such as Harry Styles, Emma Corrin, PinkPantheress, and Paloma Elsesser, and have appeared on the covers of various magazines.

The Social Impact & Sustainable Innovation Award, for contributions to responsible innovation and global inclusion through work at EssilorLuxottica and Ray-Ban, as well as commitment to expanding access to vision care through the EssilorLuxottica Foundation, was awarded to Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio, who also took part in an outstanding Face to Face event held at the Yacht Club de Monaco.

Another distinguished speaker at the conferences was Alessandro Binello, Group CEO of Quadrivio Group, which owns a portfolio of fashion and beauty brands that stand out on the international stage (Twinset, GCDS, Sessùn…).

The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation also participated, bringing together a panel of designers and sustainability experts and fostering dialogue on responsible innovation.

The final day of runway shows took place in the Grande Verrière of the Grimaldi Forum, a striking steel-and-glass structure.

Opening the Twinset show was the stunning Laila Hasanovic, embodying a fresh and refined elegance. The collection, inspired by the Côte d’Azur, reached its peak in a grand finale dedicated to evening wear—a perfect expression of elegance and modernity.

This was followed on the runway by Monegasque and international brands capable of interpreting the event’s values in a contemporary way: Kalfar captivated the audience with its chic, modern style; the Monegasque brand Beach & Cashmere Monaco by Federica Nardoni Spinetta placed circularity and responsible innovation at its core, using deadstock fabrics and experimenting with new dyeing techniques. The show also featured a collaboration with the young Monegasque label Di Iorio Monaco, showcasing their exquisite lace footwear. Portuguese designer Diana Mara highlighted the importance of ethical and conscious fashion with her eco-sustainable creations; designer Yasya Minochkina presented a collection celebrating the glamour and identity of Monaco through refined and feminine silhouettes.

Closing the Monte-Carlo Fashion Week was young British designer Macy Grimshaw, whose collection plays with trompe l’oeil prints, encouraging people to question appearances.

With a rich program of runway shows, conferences, and exclusive events, Monte-Carlo Fashion Week 2026 reaffirms itself as an authoritative platform for dialogue between fashion, sustainability, and innovation—forward-looking and increasingly central on the international stage.
