Special "Lights, Camera, Action!": THE BACKROOMS by Kane Parsons.

The plot is being kept under wraps, but it will explore the world of the Backrooms, a liminal space characterized by its unsettling, maze-like environment. 

The "Backrooms" movie, based on Kane Parsons' viral YouTube series, is set to be released in 2025.

A24 is producing the film, with Parsons directing.

The movie expands upon the eerie, maze-like world introduced in Parsons' web series, which gained popularity through its found footage aesthetic and exploration of the Backrooms concept. Production is expected to begin this summer. 

Chiwetel Ejiofor and Renate Reinsve will lead the cast.
