From April 5th to 8th, the event featuring a rich calendar of news and fashion shows is back, serving as a reference point for the fashion and bridal scene.
Great anticipation surrounds the two new special areas: Unconventional POP and Evening Dress.
Among the novelties is a packed schedule of talks and the upcycling project in collaboration with IED - Istituto Europeo di Design.
From April 5th to 8th, Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni returns to the Milan Fair - Allianz MiCo, the internationally renowned event in the fashion and bridal segment.
Organized by Fiera Milano, this event boasts a format ready to welcome over 200 brands from 25 countries.
Serving as ambassadors of Italian style, these companies, alongside prominent international entities, will take center stage in a unique exhibition, combining research, innovation, and quality in line with the evolving dynamics of the market.
Among the top exhibitors are Elisabetta Polignano, who, as tradition dictates in recent years, will kick off the fashion shows with the opening parade. Justin Alexander will showcase all its lines, including Savannah Miller.
Peter Langner will present an eventful runway show that will significantly contribute to the theme of sustainability.
Additionally, notable exhibitors include Maria Pia Creazioni, Maison Signore, Michela Ferriero, Dalin Italian Atelier, and Diamond Couture.
Attention is also drawn to the special areas featured in this new edition, starting with the Unconventional Pop-Up, which will host a selection of niche and emerging brands, focusing on bridal and accessories.
This area is entirely dedicated to the total look of the modern and contemporary bride, catering to those seeking new proposals for their boutique.
Here, attendees will find the innovative creations of Avaro Figlio, ALWSchic Milano, Bovina Fiori, Dalma Denes, Ferdinando Concept, Milan & L’Amour, Myoh Jewelry, Romina Guerrera, Sara Radice Atelier, Terry Saponaro, Vaida Design, Flavia Flaming, Derani Milano, Elodie Brides, and Petali.
Taking a broader look at the world of special event attire is the Evening Dress area, a new exhibition space exploring and presenting trends for evening wear in all its occasions of use: from Prom, increasingly popular in Europe, to the second dress after the cake cutting, passing through cocktail parties as well as the more classic ceremonies.
A notable partner for this new project is IFTA, which for five years has organized IFTA EVENING SHOW, a salon exclusively dedicated to evening wear with great attention to Italian tailoring excellence.
Collections featured in this special area include Ada Sorrentino, Badura by Aleksandra Badura, Gerardo Sacco, L’artigiano del guanto, Maria Patrizia Marra, Nanaleo Clotherapy, and Sartoria74.
Equally important are the educational moments, now with a dedicated area within the event for the first time: the Sposaitalia Lounge, where, in collaboration with Elle Italia, interviews, talks, and discussions will take place to delve into all possible scenarios of the sector, from sustainability to beauty.
Also highly anticipated is the fashion show calendar that will enliven the days of the event, showcasing bridal trends for the coming year.
Scheduled are 12 fashion shows and 18 Maison starting on Friday, April 5th, at 11:00 am, promoting inclusivity and the importance of responsible fashion with an increasingly attentive eye to market needs.
Building upon this thread, underlining one of the central themes of the event, Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni reaffirms its commitment to embracing new trends and promoting quality content towards a more ethical and sustainable bridal fashion, involving the new generations of creatives in the process of cultural change.
The upcycling project in the bridal context, in collaboration with the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED), is launched, focusing on young designers of the future and the theme of sustainability, merging fashion and education with the aim of transforming wedding dresses into casual pieces through upcycling, following Vivienne Westwood's philosophy of "Buy less, choose well, make it last."
"For us, sustainability is much more than just a passing trend: it's a significant evolution of the business that must emphasize attention to the environment and people," says Simona Greco, Director of Events at Fiera Milano.
"More specifically, we aim to promote the value of inclusion in the world of fashion and bridal to create new trends and lead towards change.
It's an important challenge that we have a duty to address for a more responsible long-term future."
"The upcoming edition of Sposaitalia will once again allow us to surprise with the new collections for 2025.
Amidst flowing lengths, embroideries resembling bas-reliefs, inspirations from 1940s cinema, and fabrics playing with transparency, wedding dresses for the most beautiful day or for so-called red carpet events become unique and unforgettable creations," states Elena Jemmallo, Exhibition Manager of Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni.

Ten students from the Master's in Fashion Design at IED, coordinated by the teacher Marina Spadafora, an ambassador of ethical fashion, will participate in the project.
They will use wedding dresses destined for disposal to study and create new casual wear pieces that will be showcased at the event.
The most representative garment, selected from the ten final designs, will receive special recognition for its ability to reinterpret the essence of the wedding dress with a new identity, following the principles of upcycling.
With the aim of enhancing community-building capabilities, Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni has forged agreements with WPI - Associazione Wedding Planner Italia and Convention Bureau Italia, ensuring the presence of numerous Italian and international wedding planners.
This initiative aims to provide another perspective, closer to the future spouses and capable of anticipating their needs.
Moreover, there will be presentations and networking opportunities for buyers and visitors from around the world at the event.
This trade show proves once again to be an unmissable occasion to discover all the trends and novelties of the contemporary bridal universe.
